1) A submission can be your own work, or another’s, but please make sure it’s credited properly. No one likes a plagiarist. Include a link to the original post or website (be it youtube, tumblr or elsewhere). [NB: I always prefer a tumblr link to a creator’s own post if available]

2) Please tag your submission. If you want tags not available below, just list them in the description.

Here’s a quick guide;
a) If it’s multifandom, tag it so.
b) “shipping” for couple/shippy vids OR “character vid” for vids that focus specifically on a character/characters without ships OR “ensemble” for a vid about all/multiple characters/themes/ships in a fandom.
Possibly in addition “gen”/”parody”/”crack” as applies
c) meta tags about “women” or “men” generally are also available.
d) Fanvids about celebs are generally under celebrities.

3) If a vid is hot off the fandom press (i.e. a week after an episode has first aired on TV, more for movies), then please mark it with “spoilers”. Not just for my benefit; if I’m not in a fandom I might not know what’s spoiler-y and what isn’t. I also use “trailer spoilers” to indicate videos with content only from promotional content.
